Idoodle in my notebook, hoping it’ll distract me from my inappropriate thoughts about my advisor. He’s currently lecturing for the class I’m assisting him with, and I can’t focus on anything he’s saying.

The lecture hall we’re in isn’t huge, but it feels large because of the high ceiling and the bleacher style seating. The seats are half filled with mostly undergrad female students. I’m sitting all the way at the top in the last row.

From this vantage point, I can see everyone clearly. The guys all look bored while the girls are all leaning forward like they’re hanging onto his every word. I can’t say I blame them. He’s hot as fuck and has a sexy voice.

It’s clear he’s passionate about Greek literature, but there’s something about his deep baritone that really hits me in the gut. It’s impossible not to be turned on.

Thank god the past few weeks have been busy. Between prepping for midterms and finalizing my proposal, there’s been very little time to obsess over Dr. Rosi.

Or Donnie. Or sir. I change his name often in my fantasies. His reaction to sir is always the hottest. That’s the name that makes him growl. It’s what pushes him over the edge and forces him to take control of me like I was made for his pleasure. It’s hot and oh so …

Oh my God! I have got to stop.

I have to stop my mind from wandering into fantasyland about this man. He’s my boss, not my boyfriend.

A few days ago, his sister visited him while we were in a meeting. The way he smiled when she called him Donnie made me wish I could call him by his nickname too.

Not that I’ll ever call him anything other than Dr. Rosi. I can’t even bring myself to call him Adonis, let alone a nickname given to him by his family. It’s far too personal.

A lot of grad students will call their faculty advisors by their first name. It’s such a close working relationship that it becomes natural to use first names. But considering our history, I can’t bring myself to do it.

I need that professional boundary to remain intact.

It’s bad enough that I can’t stop fantasizing about him while he lectures about ancient Greek gods and literature. I can’t imagine how bad those fantasies would become if I called him Adonis or Donnie. Or worse … sir.

His eyes meet mine, and I forget how to breathe. I don’t see love in his eyes. All I see is raw, primal lust. I glance around the room and relax when it appears no one else sees what I see.
